        Reading lots of definitions in such dictionaries, makes me think clearer, enable myself to visualize and define it on my own words on what information technology talks about. Thus, in this area contains a wide scope. For me, information technology is:

        INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY- it is somewhat a processing or a distribution of some data, information or records by means of the high technology device in this modern era that is called as a “COMPUTER”. It is a field wherein, a person living in this kind of world will have a better life because it will make things such easier and comfortable. In today’s generation, people use this information technology or IT in any jobs, and some activities. Through this said information technology, we can acquire accurate data and information.

         According to Wikipedia.com (a computer’s online dictionary), an information technology is the area of managing technology and spans wide variety of areas that include but are not limited to things such as processes, computer software, information systems, computer hardware, programming languages, and data constructs. It is the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and numerical information by a microelectronics-based combination of computing and telecommunications.

        Nowadays, information technology is used in many things but mainly in communicating, spread and gathered information in different sources, and also in finding entertainments. Furthermore, information technology or IT can be compared or it is just like a bundle of all these things: the water piping system; the electrical lining system; the bicycle; roads and highways; the library; the printing press; the telephone; the airplane; and many more.

        In water pipelining system, it is a bit related to Information technology. A water piping system is a system wherein water is distributed fairly or it is a continuous flow distribution of water, just like in information technology, data are distributed specifically in many departments and gives accurate information to people. The water piping system serves as the pathway of the flow of water and Information Technology works the same way, too. It gives or collects information through a connector.

        The said information technology is linked also in bicycles in which it carriers, transfer things or a person into another place. In the field of IT, the person or the said things are the information or data that have been transferred to other branches then the bicycle is the distributor of information in order to make it useful to other people. Additionally, when riding a bicycle we should have to have a balance just like in IT we should distribute information in an organized one. The bicycle can also represent a device like a modern computer on what is the way or cycle of information inside the processor.

        In roads and highways, information technology is related also because those roads and highways are wide but it has sometimes it has an end-point, also IT has a broad scope in terms of information but it has a one goal in order to make life of a person easier and comfortable.

        Due to a change in atmosphere and making this as a modern world, our libraries are being influence also by this fast changing environment. Libraries are the storage of several books and other informational materials made available to people for reading, study, or reference. It is a place where we can gather information that is necessary for us or just for leisure.  As well as information technology we can gather more information, necessary or not for even a single time. As of now, through the influence of the modern technologies in our world, libraries have also implemented the use of information technology by means of computers. Now, we can easily get information in other sources by just easily clicking the mouse of a computer.

        We can also relate IT in printing press, because in IT we can print or saved the data that we’ve gathered out from a computer. In a printing press we can also print information in the same manner. Nowadays, printing press also used computers and other technologies in order to have an easier work.

        In this generation a telephone is used. This is one of the devices which are usually used in communicating friends, families, and others. Moreover, the uses of telephone we can receive and send information immediately even at distant person. Similar to IT, even if we’re far away we can send and receive such message and information. A telephone also is a small version or type of computer so information technology is totally applied in using this sort of device/instrument.

        Further, information technology can also be interrelate in airplanes on which if we traveled in different places by using that kind of machine, we can collect information and distribute data to others. In a same manner, information technology on which we can gather, stored information, distribute data in the simplest and easiest way. IT transports and transfers data and instructions from the system unit to the user.

These are just some things wherein we can relate it to INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY but there are also things that we may relate to it.

        Additionally, this we call as “information technology” or “IT” is not a dead-end job, because as the time goes by, technologies will be developed or change into new one, but information technology is still be applied. Information Technology is subject to changes, the ideas maybe added, or new sets of ideas may come. They say”IT is a continuous learning and is innovating a lot of thing”. That’s true! It will never just simply stop for just one glimpse, through IT, we as a human being we can learn several knowledge, we should uncover numerous researches and we can gathered quite a few fact and developed new ideas. As long as there is a technology and we’re still alive, the learning process will not easily end-up or just stop.

        Therefore as the time goes by, our modern world produces new technology that is capable of making things as simpler and comfortable to the lives of everyone.
